We are conscious that our business activities contribute to climate change.

While national governments and multilateral organisations are best placed to affect real change, we believe that individuals and businesses should take responsibility for their actions, and demonstrate to others the importance of this systemic problem.

Our principal climate impact is from air travel. We minimise travel as much as possible. This includes seeking to engage consulting associates who reside in the countries where our clients operate, rather than flying in from other locations.

When travel is necessary, we purchase Gold Standard accredited carbon credits, calculated using the ICAO methodology for all our flights. These costs are passed on directly to our clients, and made transparent to them as part our proposal and contracting process.

We are assessing how to extend this program to include carbon emissions related to daily business activities.

To recognise our commitment to the important challenge of addressing climate change, we offer preferential consulting rates to organisations working on climate change-related problems.
