A nice companion to the post a little while ago about UI Guidelines for 19 mobile platforms is mobiForge’s discussion and guide for getting mobile emulators running on your computer. Emulators (or simulators) are a great way to play with a handset UI without having to purchase a device. The guide includes great instructions for getting Android, iPhone, Nokia S60, OpenWave, Windows Mobile and RIM emulators (amongst others) running on your computer.

Hi,
this link is very helpful for developers. It’s good that you can test your apps with different dispaly sizes etc.
Is there somewhere a list were I can, for example, see which display sizes and resolutions the majority of the devices have, so I can optimize my app for that?
In the web area there are always list like which browsers and operating systems people use and so on, but I never found that for mobile devices.
