The simple phone meme rolls on…

“For the rest of us, the great news is that an obscure Austrian company has come to its senses and called a halt to miniaturisation and complex-isation…And it’s sold 50,000 of them in a couple of months. Emporia’s phone has no digital camera, no internet access and no instant messaging capabilities. It does have a big red button to call relatives or friends in an emergency, is compatible with hearing aids and can run on over-the-counter AAA batteries.”

Yeah really good about the Emporia phone, but where can I buy one? The more I read about it the more it’s just what I need, but I can’t locate a vendor, even on the internet.
Would like to buy but unable to find seller.
the phone is set to be available sometime this month (May) in the UK-has not been available prop to this – I too have investigated lots on internet- seems the details and pictures until now have all been of prototype which was made for the conference / show that it was presented at – so hopefully we’ll be able to buy one this month (heaven knows how much tho!)
Finally got the Emporia life phone, works in Australia and everywhere else I have taken it. Little bit bulky but otherwise I’m well pleased withit. I had to get it posted out to me by someone in the UK, still can’t buy it in Oz. Also unless you really need it disable the emergency button. It’s too easy to press accidentally and even with it not selected the phone still interupts whatever you are doing to ask if you want to turn it back on. I’ve super glued the button.
